Announcing NFCA's Webinar, "Back to School: Preparing to Educate School Administrators on the Importance of Gluten-Free," on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 8:30pm EDT/5:30pm PDT.

In the past year, NFCA’s inboxes have been flooded with questions on how to address children’s medical needs at school while maintaining a positive atmosphere. NFCA’s annual Back-to-School webinar will return as Gabriela Pacheco, MS, RD, SNS, School Nutrition Consultant, focuses on providing parents of gluten-free children with the knowledge and material needed to address tough gluten-free issues with their children’s school administration. We know that this is a specific issue many members of our community face regularly and we are eager to share Gabriela's expertise.
Three winners will receive product from Mary’s Gone Crackers: one bag of each Pretzel flavor and one box of each love Cookie flavor. There are four 5.5 oz. boxes of love Cookies available: Double Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Ginger Snap and “N’Oatmeal” Raisin (No Oats!) and three 7.5 oz. bags of Pretzels available: Sea Salt, Chipotle Tomato and Curry.
Continuing Education Credit: Registered Dietitians (RD) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR) are able to participate in this live 60-minute webinar to obtain CE credits regardless of this program's approval status as long as the webinar is professional in nature. RDs and DTRs need to retain a copy of the program evaluation available after their participation. Program participants will receive a link to complete the program evaluation one day after the close of the webinar.
